Sat. 12/11: What is Fate and how is it tied to our potential destiny?
By mistake or fate, on Michael Meade's thirteenth birthday his aunt, thinking she was giving him a book on history, gave him book on mythology. He was living in a broken neighborhood where people lived in fear. Pouring over the book that night, he realized that beauty is never far away from fear, and that, "a person has to figure out how to face the fear in order to find the beauty." For Meade, myth was a way to do that. Michael Meade is a renowned storyteller, author, scholar of mythology, and student of ritual in traditional cultures. He is also the founder of Mosaic Multicultural Foundation.
