Rose Aguilar on Roe at 40, Daphne Wysham on Climate Policy

Jan 28, 2013

Tue. 1/29 8:30a: Media are marking the 40 year anniversary of the Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision. But are they giving us a clear picture of what people think of access to abortion services and reproductive rights?

Journalist Rose Aguilar doesn't think so, and she'll join us to explain.

Also on the show,  media made much of Barack Obama's comments on climate change in his inaugural address. But with a new (and undercovered) assessment projecting temperature rises of 9 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit over the next century, it's obvious that talking about climate change is not enough. We'll talk to Daphne Wysham of the Institute for Policy Studies about that story.
