Reproduction and Repercussions
Fri. 8/31 11a: In this day and age when taboos around sex discussions have lightened up, if not lifted entirely, and the availability of contraception has never been more available, are we still seeing babies having babies in our communities?
If so, why? Or, have we taken a more responsible attitude with our reproduction and if we have, are we seeing a healthier quality of community take root as a result?
We invite you to tune in as we explore the current trends when it comes to reproduction as we visit with front-line practitioners who are witness to their communities. We are also opening up the circle to hear from parents who’ve struggled as young unprepared parents.
When it comes to making reproduction decisions what type of support systems are in place for young expectant parents presently in your tribal nation?
