NM Anglers Take Advantage of Winter Trout Program

The cold weather may not inspire the majority of us to go outside and stand around for hours.  But, then, the majority of us aren’t fishermen. Every year the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish raises close to three million trout, many of which are released in warmer parts of the state as part of its Winter Trout Waters program.  KUNM’s Conservation Beat reporter Sidsel Overgaard paid a visit to Tingley Beach in Albuquerque where trout are being stocked weekly this year...and produced this audio profile.
