Wed. 3/14 11a: March is Women’s History Month and we are taking a look at the Native women and the courts.

Some of the most dynamic moments in the relationship of Natives to the courts includes a path paved by Native women. In celebration of this legacy we take a moment to rediscover some of the great stories as well as, uncover some not-so-well-known ones.

How has the participation of Native women helped to shape the judicial system inside and out of the courtroom?

Guests include Stacy Leeds (Cherokee) Dean & Professor of Law/University of Arkansas School of Law and Walter Echo-Hawk (Pawnee) Author & Attorney.
