Wed. 4/27 at 230pm: The amazing Tony Furtado joins host Carol Boss in the KUNM studios for a live performance that you will not want to miss. A winner of the Grand National Banjo Championship at 19, Tony Furtado has gone on to become an acclaimed slide guitarist, songwriter and collaborator in many genres. His eclectic approach in playing swing, jazz style, Celtic-folk, and old-timey music has shaped Furtado's musical maturations. His latest (and 15th) album, Golden, marks the first time he has self-produced and penned every track.
