KUNM Donor’s FAQ

       KUNM relies on voluntary contributions from our listeners. In any given year, about half of our operating revenue comes from the generous donations of listeners like you.
       This FAQ is intended to address questions you might have about donating, the donation process, and who to contact at KUNM for help. We are also providing you with information about our donation page, to help answer questions you may have about KUNM’s online donations.
       As a non-commercial, public service radio station serving half the population of New Mexico, KUNM solicits and receives donations through our online donations form. The online donations page is part of the many services available at our website KUNM.org.
Customer Service Phone:
       You can always call with questions. We will return your call as soon as possible – but please know that our customer service staff is here at KUNM during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. We love to give you great service and will return your call promptly.

       Please use this address for any mail you want to send us. This address also works for any “Thank You” gifts that you might need to return to us. If you want to mail something to KUNM, this is the address you need.
You can Visit our Offices:
       Our business office is always open between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm during the work week. The business office is closed on most holidays and during the week between Christmas and New Year’s. We’d love to meet you in person, but its best to let us know ahead of time that you are coming to visit.

Info about our Online Donation Pages:
       KUNM’s website is hosted by National Public Radio’s Digital Services. Our online donations page is part of NPR’s services. You can see that KUNM is identifiable as an active member of NPR’s secure, public broadcasting service.
       In the upper right hand corner of KUNM’s donations form (where you enter your personal information), you can click on the Norton Secured Seal powered by Verisign. The pop-up window shows the most recent security information for the site, updated daily.
       The Norton Seal is “owned” by a company called Public Interactive in Boston, Massachusetts. KUNM has been using Public Interactive as a secure donations host for more than ten years. NPR Digital Services purchased Public Interactive in 2008 and is slowly converting the branded elements of Public Interactive’s many other online services. We expect to see NPR making incremental changes to our donations page over time.
KUNM’s Privacy Policy:
       KUNM’s Privacy Policy is available from a link on the Donations form page and at the very bottom of our homepage.
Refund and Return Policy:
       If for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your donation to KUNM, please contact our Development Department or General Manager so we can assist you with a refund.   KUNM relies on annual giving from our donors, so there can be no refund of a gift made more than a year prior to the date you seek a refund.
       From time to time, KUNM offers “Thank You” gifts in recognition of your donation.   If you find these gifts defective or less than satisfactory, please contact us for a replacement gift.
Currency Transaction:
       Presently, your donations can only be made in U.S. dollars.
Export or Legal Restrictions:
       There are no Export or Legal Restrictions related to KUNM’s online donations page.
