Sat. 7/19, 9am: The Rio Grande is the heart of New Mexico. We'll learn how the river looked in the past, what it's doing now, and what we can expect for the future. The Rio Grande stretches a magical 2,401 miles, from its source in Colorado, all the way to the far southern border of the United States. Joining us is Jennifer Scheutz from the Bosque Ecosystem Monitoring Project. Plus, the cast of James and the Giant Peach will roll through the studio.
Sat. 7/12, 9am: Cooper's Hawks are prolific in the Middle Rio Grande Valley. Wildlife bird expert Kristen Madden will join us to discuss how kids can identify, protect and keep safe from nesting Cooper's Hawks. We'll also have a visit from Theatre-in-the-Making kids performing Shakespeare, and The Doubleclicks will give us an exclusive, in-studio concert.
Sunday 10/30 at 6:00p: Halloween Show 2010 from Chatterbox Audio Theatre Chatterbox's third annual Halloween performance. This terrifying production features five original tales of horror, all performed and broadcast live on 91.1 WKNO FM in Memphis.
