 The Future of the Natural Conservation Act
This week on the KUNM call-in show, New Mexico passes new rules to protect open lands, but offers no financing for conservation work. Despite the prospects of another slim budget year, state officials and conservationists are hopeful legislators can be persuaded to put money in the conservation fund.
