White Tiger Passage, by John Dixon Carr

Sun. 6/20: On October 30th, 1938, the War of the Worlds was a rousing radio success. But whatever happened to the Ramon Raquello Orchestra whose performance was preempted that same evening? It's a long story and it starts and finishes with a lone trombone. A rollicking adventure story, in which a young newspaperman, with help from an old flame, tracks down a killer, showing more persistence than detective brilliance.

Dialogue with Martian Trombone by Brian Price and Jerry Stearns produced by Great Northern Audio Theatre, and starring David Ossman and Phil Proctor of the Firesign Theatre.

Produced at KUNM.
