Thurs. 6/16 at 130pm: Tune in for a yabba-dabba-delicious Freeform afternoon as Travis Parkin plays an eclectic mix of music inspired by 60's television show themes, cartoons, and more.In our theme-driven set, we'll be serving up a collection of music and comedy tracks inspired by TV animation. The segment includes Reggae, Jazz, Rock, Latin, Native American and comedy selections based on cartoons like The Flintsones, The Simpsons, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Popeye, Mighty Mouse and others. Later in the program, a handpicked collection of tunes about rhythm with contributions from Mighty Sparrow, Doris Day, Harpo Marx, Jos? Mangual, Jr., Wayne Hancock and Skinnay Ennis. In our final thematic set, an assortment of fresh compositions derived from 60's TV show themes. Artists include Arthur Lyman, Los Straitjackets, Link Wray, Those Darn Accordions and others.
