Mon. 4/18 7p: On Espejos de Aztlán, a conversation with recently retired City Councilor Rey Garduño. Elected in 2007, Garduño served two terms on the Council representing the UNM area, Nob Hill and the International District. During his eight years, Garduño became known as a champion for his District, and for people of color and of low-wealth. We’ll hear his perspectives on governance, power and race in Albuquerque.
