A reprise of The Red Road, by Arigon Starr

"The Red Road" is set in 1977 at the All Nations Caf? along Route 66 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Caf? owner Verna Yahola is under siege by friends, family, and three unlikely suitors as country music superstar Patty Jones brings her television show to the Caf? for their tenth anniversary television special.

The bright lights attract curious spectators, including local Creek DJ, Clyde Chupco; Verna's teenage sci-fi geek niece Loretta; Beatles expert, nine-year old Desmond Tsinajinnie and his father, the caf?'s frycook Emmitt; Bingo-crazed elder Etta Walters; British punk rocker Danny Dacron; brother and sister American Indian activists Bonnie and Richard Doolittle; and Verna's wildly handsome and popular brother Merle, Jr. From Native Voices at the Autry and Native Radio Theatre.

Directed by Dirk Maggs and featuring Arigon Starr performing all eleven characters.
