Sun. 9/27 7p: We will be taking you to OYE 2015. Organizing Youth Engagement is the state’s largest grassroots youth advocacy conference. Since 2009, a coalition of local organizations led by the New Mexico Forum for Youth in Community have come together to plan OYE.
There were workshops and trainings all weekend surrounding issues of ethnic studies, police brutality, cultural appropriation, teen suicide, and standardizedtesting like the PARCC. Tune in to hear their ideas through speech, poem, and song!
