Mexico Asks for Drought Assistance from US Immigrant Communities
A severe drought in Northern and Central Mexico has prompted some Mexican officials to come to this side of the border to ask for grassroots support.
Officials from the northern state of Durango are touring U.S. cities to encourage Mexican immigrant associations to raise money and send food donations. Jude Joffe-Block reports from the Fronteras Changing America Desk.
