Martha Egan's New Book Offers Up a Slice of Fictional New Mexico

Stories can capture a little slice of culture. That's especially true in the writing of Martha Egan.

She's lived in New Mexico since the mid 1970s and owns the Latin American folk art and antiques gallery Pachamama in Santa Fe.

KUNM's Sarah Gustavus recently sat down with Egan and asked her about the themes that connect the stories in her new collection of fictional stories called La Ranfla.

She'll be at the UNM bookstore on Friday, October 23.
