LISTEN: Innocence And Justice Project Remedies Courts' Mistakes

  University Showcase Fri 09/16 8a: Our guests will be Professor Gordon Rahn, director of the New Mexico Innocence and Justice Project at the University of New Mexico School of Law, as well as Anthony Ray Hinton, who was exonerated in 2015 after 30 years on Alabama's death row, and Jennifer Thompson, whose testimony helped convict Ronald Cotton of rape. He was later exonerated via DNA evidence.

They later wrote a book together "Picking Cotton: Our Memoir of Injustice and Redemption." She is the founder and president of Healing Justice.
