Last Chance To Comment On Higher Education

Albuquerque, NM – Higher Education Secretary, Dr. Viola Florez says one of the issues highlighted in a draft Master Plan for Higher Education is remediation.

Those are courses that help students catch up on knowledge they need to perform well in college-level courses.

New Mexico has 24 institutions of higher learning around the state.

A draft of the Master Plan for Higher Education is available on the New Mexico Department of Higher Education website.

The deadline for public comments is Friday, December 10.
