The New Mexico Broadcasters Association and The Associated Press-New Mexico recognized excellence in broadcasting at an awards gala on Friday night. Radio and television stations were awarded for their news, entertainment, public affairs, and sports coverage.
The KUNM Newsroom earned awards in the Feature News, General News, Continuing Coverage, and Single-Topic Event News Coverage.
