Heroin and Youth Part One: Building Awareness

Sun. 3/4 7p. : Generation Justice, in partnership with KUNM, presents this  touching radio show about Heroin and Opiate Addiction Awareness.

New Mexico leads the nation with the most drug overdose deaths. Media Arts Collaborative Charter School (MACCS) Advance Music Production Class was inspired by a fellow student’s Heroin Overdose to make an album raising awareness about drugs in New Mexico. Generation Justice Youth Producer Jazlin Mendoza sat down with the students and teacher to learn more about their project. The show will also feature songs from the album.
