Happy 50th Institute of American Indian Arts
Tue. 10/16 11a: Created by President John F. Kennedy in 1962, the Institute of American Indian Arts celebrates its 50th birthday this month.
The only school of its kind in the U.S., it's been the home to countless Native American artists/legends, and a breeding ground for some of the nation's greatest talents. Join us as we bring you voices from each decade the school has existed, the stories behind the art, and a glimpse at the next 50 years as the school continues to move forward.
