Fri. 12/3: Our guests are Dr. David P. Sklar, Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Dr. James Fleming, assistant professor of Emergency Medicine.
Both guests are with the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and both have written recent books. Dr. Sklar's book, La Cl?nica: A Doctors Journey across Borders is an autobiographic account of his introduction to medicine, essentially without medical training, to work in a small village clinic in Mexico. Dr. Fleming's book is a novel, entitled Tengo Sed. It covers a day in the life of an Emergency Medicine Resident in the ICU Level 1 trauma center during his Residency.
