The Children Are the Future

Thu. 2/16 11a: Do you believe Native American children are the future of Native America? 

With the rise of single-parent families in Indian Country, as well as the existing dysfunction and abuse, Native children are being left behind. A group called Futures for Children has been tackling these issues for more than four decades. Their Youth Leadership program continues to expand each year and their Friendship/Mentorship program graduates 98 percent of its students from high school.
