Mon. 9/9, 7:30p: The Bi-Cultural Road Show comes to town, and host Adam Aguirre welcomes them to KUNM.
The National Hispanic Cultural Center hosts the Carpetbag Brigade Physical Theater Companyfrom San Francisco, California, who are touring with two Colombian performing arts companies, Nemcatacoa Teatro and Hojarasca. The Bi Cultural Road Show expands the understanding and appreciation of Latin Culture by being a living display of creative co-existence that includes presenting each participating company’s repertory performances, sharing two slide show lectures and conducting a residency program, entitled The Open Society Project that engages students and artists from the different communities visited by the Bi Cultural Road Show.

These groups will be in residence at the (NHCC) from September 8 through 22. They will be teaching daily at the NHCC, presenting a theater  performance on September 14 in the Journal Theatre, and performing with Circo Latino students, and others at Globalquerque on September 21!
