To help imagine such a hero, Native entertainer and comic diva Arigon Starr of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma presents the adventures of one reservation sensation in her debut comic series in book form, “Super Indian Volume One.” With the tag line, “Once a Rez Boy, now a super hero,” the life of Super Indian springs forward from the day he ate some tainted commodity cheese and gained his super powers. Since that unforgettable moment his adventures have helped bring another slice of Native life to the table.
