Albuquerque Police Chief Makes Burglary Arrest

A man is facing burglary charges after Albuquerque police say the suspect was spotted by Police Chief Ray Schultz breaking into a business.

KRQE-TV reports that Schultz say saw 30-year-old Frank Antonio break a window of Window World late Saturday, and then go inside the business.

According to a criminal complaint, Antonio was drunk when the chief ordered him out.

Antonio was charged with commercial burglary and is being held without bond in the Metropolitan Detention Center on a probation violation warrant.

It was unclear if he had an attorney.

Police say Schultz goes out on patrol regularly on the weekends.

In September, Schultz helped stop an accused drunk driver who started running into people who were watching the State Fair parade.
