The city of Santa Fe, earlier this month, wrapped up its first five-day conference on "creative tourism". Part of the mission of the conference was to help develop ways for tourists to have a "more genuine experience" of the region they're visiting. However, as KUNM's Jim Williams reports, part of that genuine experience is now taking place between tourist stops.
