Sat. 11 May, 4 pm: Small and powerful, pequeña y poderosa, Lily Yeh uses colors to light the paths of the darkness that hidden pains, of trauma and lost freedoms. She visited our state as guest of the New Mexico Community Foundation for the project LA CULTURA CURA/The Culture cures. And she worked with young people at the La Plazita Institute, in the heart of the South Valley of Albuquerque. Two days happily ended in a big cloth with an enormous flowery tree that grows in the middle of the Rio Grande. The tree of life?

He is recognized for having an unique and original rhythm that represents his American roots with traditional Spanish influence. Muñoz will introduce his new Flamenco show "RED NOTE" that will be performed at the National Hispanic Cultural Center on May 17-18. Be prepared to take a journey to southern Spain where soul meets dance.

In her extraordinary memoir, she vividly brings to life her childhood, spent torn between two parents and two countries. Reyna Grande is an important public voice for Mexican-Americans and immigrants of every origin. On Saturday March 30th at 2pm, she will read at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
